Go to third time in a row the company Pöllmann the German Musical Instruments Award won. The Contrabass model Imperator 5 strings achieved in all evaluation categories Rank 1 and clearly set itself apart from the other participants in the overall evaluation. The warm and round sound with plenty of volume and radiance across the entire tonal range - and the very good playability, response and ergonomics were awarded the highest score by the judges. The instrument also achieved the best rating for its excellent craftsmanship, wood selection and varnish. Last but not least, the Pöllmann Contrabass "Imperator also in the objective investigation the first place attain and showed No weak points.

The price assigned to the Pöllmann contrabass Imperator is justified by the complex manufacturing process, the excellent quality of the craftsmanship and the outstanding finish.

The panel of expert judges have evaluated the playability of the Double Bass as excellent in every aspect.  The sound volume and tone quality were regarded as especially rich in the deep and middle pitches.

The Pöllmann Busseto model was acclaimed by the judges panel as First Price winner in the German musical Instrument competition of handcrafted Double Basses.
